First use of your butcher block:
Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil to preserve their quality.
After each use:
Scrape off excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to extend their longevity. Never clean your butcher block with water. All Chabret end-grain wood butcher blocks are guaranteed for 6 months against any manufacturing defects, provided all the conditions listed above have been met. Only a potential manufacturing defect will be considered.
