Made from 100% French end-grain hornbeam wood, highly resistant for cutting. The underside is made of local wood, and the end-grain top is hot paraffined for better longevity. Four 28mm thick beech belts glued with straight tails for enhanced solidity. Natural varnished solid beech legs for long-lasting protection. For lengths over 150 cm, the stand includes six legs. Options: knife holder edge, backsplash, and drawers. Stainless steel or brass brackets available on request. Possible block length: 400 mm to 2500 mm. Possible block width: 400 mm to 1000 mm. 100% French hornbeam wood on about 70% of the block's thickness. Professional product that can also be used by individuals. Specify the place of use to determine the wood's hygrometry (butchery lab, butcher shop, kitchen). To ensure longevity, the block should be regularly scraped and greased with food-grade grease or oil. Custom-made and ordered within 3 to 6 weeks. Designed for daily use, our blocks gain beauty and durability over time with proper care. First use: Oil all surfaces with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil to preserve quality. After each use: Scrape excess moisture with a knife and oil monthly to extend longevity. Never clean your block with water.
