Composition- Chemical‑resistant overlay film
- Decor paper impregnated with melamine resin
- Multiple layers of kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin (core)
Features- Resistance to acids, alkalis and many organic solvents
- Corrosion and abrasion resistance
- Impact resistance and dimensional stability
- Heat resistance and cigarette burn resistance
- Dense, waterproof and easy‑to‑clean surface
Applications- Laboratory benches, countertops and casework in chemical, biological and pharmaceutical labs
- Hospital worktops, dental/medical examination rooms and dialysis centres
- Nursing stations, pathology workrooms and testing facilities
- School and university labs, photography darkrooms, beauty salons
Storage conditions- Acclimatize laminate and substrate in the same environment for 48 hours before fabrication (recommended ≈ 24 °C and 45–55% RH)
- For best adhesive performance apply adhesives at ≥ 18 °C
- During storage/transport, place sheets on a plate slightly larger than the boards; use protective plates between pallet and boards and above stacks
- Avoid storing near doors or in excessively wet/hot environments; allow at least 72 hours acclimatization before processing or installation
Maintenance instructions- Avoid contact with ≥96% sulfuric or nitric acid for longer than 5 hours
- Do not expose to non‑standard test reagents or prolonged contact with aggressive corrosives
- Avoid direct contact with objects above ~180 °C (e.g., heat‑dried glassware, open flames, molten metal)
- After use, wipe surface to remove residues of acids, alkalis or solvents
- Do not use strongly acidic/alkaline corrosive cleaners; for persistent stains rinse immediately with dilute hypochlorite then water (prolonged hypochlorite contact may cause discoloration)
HandlingLift phenolic laminate vertically to reduce scratching; use vacuum lifters where possible.
Production process- Incoming raw material inspection (resin powder, fillers, papers)
- Impregnation with melamine and phenolic resins
- Assembly of decor and kraft paper layers
- Hot pressing (core forming)
- Cutting to size, quality inspection and packaging
Product advantages- Dense, non‑permeable surface resists water and dust ingress
- Chemical and cigarette burn resistance with flame‑retardant characteristics
- Easy maintenance with good abrasion, impact and scratch resistance
