Product overview The POLYBETT® Formica HPL phenolic high-pressure laminate panel is a compact structural panel with decorative surfaces on both faces. It is designed for interior applications requiring water resistance, fire performance, impact resistance and easy maintenance. Standard thicknesses include 3 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm, with a full range from 1.6 mm to 30 mm.
Composition - Overlay: melamine-impregnated decorative paper (surface protective layer)

Packing, delivery & fabrication Products are normally packed in plywood cases or on plywood pallets (sheets >5 mm usually palletised). Incoterms supported: EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF. The panels can be drilled, tapped, sanded, shaped and cut with standard carbide-tipped tools for customised fabrication.
Material analysis HPL is produced by layering melamine-impregnated decorative paper on both faces and multiple kraft paper plies impregnated with phenolic resin in the core, consolidated under high heat and pressure to form a compact panel with decorative faces.
Usage recommendations Suitable for indoor wet areas (toilet and shower partitions, washstand tops), kitchen cabinets, countertops and furniture where moisture, heat and impact resistance are required.
