Description

Christian Fischbacher produces Komon in collaboration with an experienced weaver who normally specializes in the production of silk fabrics. The warp of Komon comprises 136 threads per cm, each of which in turn consists of 36 individual filaments. This extraordinary density and fineness are responsible for the luster and the silky effect of the fabric. The structured three-dimensional surface is created using a shrinkable yarn that contracts during finishing. The name Komon literally means "small pattern" and refers to finely drawn Japanese kimonos, the inspiration for this fabric. Komon can be used as a drape or an upholstery fabric. Repeat: Vertical 17 cm / Horizontal 17 cm WEIGHT 290 gram per sq.m COMPOSITION 49% Polyamide, 20% Cotton, 18% Polyester, 13% Polyacrylic DIMENSIONS 130 cm
