Description

What makes a strong impression is the contrast between thin metal pipes and a thick seat made of Hokkaido ash. One of the metal pipe legs extends upward to be a reading lamp. The idea by the designer Tadahito Ishibashi was praised as "a new design that has never been seen" and won a prize in the International Furniture Design Competition in Asahikawa (IFDA) in 2021. It can accent a room even if used alone. If used in multiple in a gallery or hotel lobby (for example), their light will create a beautiful scene for people gathered there.
