Space is all around us, and informs our passage in the world. The Matrix outdoor sphere plays with the balance of negative and positive space, inviting us to look within as well as without. SPATIAL VOLUMES A dramatic and imposing garden sphere made of two contrasting metals that plays with the ratio of void to substance. The Matrix is a departure from traditional wire ball outdoor sculptures but it is made from a series of bronze hoops and randomly placed plates, with their inner surfaces gilded in 23¾-carat gold leaf. The outer surface of the plates are made from stainless steel which subtly reflects the landscape. Diameters available: 76cm, 100cm, 120cm, 160cm.
