Macassar Ebony and stainless steel The name for this piece came on a night out when the classic disco track “Le Chic” was played. It just seemed to fit! The dark stripy Macassar Ebony of this limited edition coffee table blends with the simplicity of the brushed stainless steel and combined with the glass it has a very contemporary feel. The glass top is secured to the base using four stainless steel discs which are UV bonded to the glass which is then lowered into recesses in the Ebony base, thus preventing lateral movement. The glass comes in various sizes from 1000mm diameter (photographed) to 1300 mm. The table can also be made as a 6 seater dining table with a 1500mm diameter glass top.
