Description

Product overview:
Water-based, ultra-reflective, self-cleaning photocatalytic resin protective coating. Ecoreflex initiates a photocatalytic process that decomposes pollutants and reduces local pollution. It reflects solar radiation, lowers substrate temperature and helps reduce summer air-conditioning energy needs. Ready to use; suitable for horizontal, vertical and sloped surfaces with good adhesion even on slightly bituminous or slated substrates.

Key properties:
  • Photocatalytic, self-cleaning action
  • Significant smog abatement capability (isopropanol conversion: 80% after 24 h under test conditions)
  • Contributes to reduced energy demand for summer air conditioning
  • Reduces urban heat island effect
  • Compatible as a finish for waterproofing systems based on synthetic resins
  • High solar reflectance (82%)
  • High thermal emissivity (E = 90%) and SRI = 103%
  • High elasticity across temperature range
  • Good re-waterproofing capability
  • Easy and quick to apply; solvent free

Yield and packaging:
– Yield: 1.00 kg/m² = 0.204 lb/ft²
– Packaging: 5 kg plastic bucket; 20 kg plastic bucket

Drying time and application:
– Drying time: approx. 5 h (value referred to +23°C / +73°F and 50% RH)

Application methods:
  • Brush
  • Roll
  • Airless spray
