Warranty and maintenance
Technological wood carries a 5-year warranty covering colour and functional/structural properties and an estimated useful life of > 15 years. During the first 12–16 weeks the material may lighten slightly (10–15%) during acclimatisation; this is normal. As the compound contains more than 50% natural wood, base colour tone and grain may vary over time depending on solar exposure and climate. Wash the slats a couple of times a year with water and neutral soap.
