Aluminium / EPDM expansion joint profiles (37 mm) for buildings and heavy load applications • For high loads in busy areas • Exchangeable insert • Floor to wall connection profile available DURAFLEX expansion joint profiles in the SB series with a visible width of 37 mm have been designed for use in heavily frequented areas subject to high stresses. The lateral aluminium profiles are combined with an inlay made of thermoplastic elastomer (EPDM) for high horizontal and vertical high movement absorption. The inlays are easily interchangeable as required. A wall / floor connection profile is available. DURAFLEX SB Aluminium EPDM infill DURAFLEX SB Corner design Aluminium EPDM infill APPLICATION: Dural's flexible DURAFLEX SB, SC expansion joint profiles are manufacturée! for use in busy locations.They are highly résistant to wear and can be easily employed in retail outlets, warehouses or factories. The visible surface of the profile is 37 mm in the standard version and 45 mm in the reinforced version. Loads acting at a point are evenly distributed through the covering and the bedding via the inlay. The profiles are available from stock for heights from 15-50 mm (SB) and 35-90 mm (SC). Creater heights are available on request.The aluminium profiles at the sides are bonded to a thermoplastic lastomer (EPDM) rail that is easily replaced.The specially developed inlay absorbs shocks and reduces the sound of footfall. DURAFLEX SB, SC aluminium profiles can also be used for walls and ceilings. MATERIAL: Flexible DURAFLEX expansion joint profiles consist of an aluminium girder section with a thermoplastic elastomer (EPDM) inlay. They are available in black or grey.
