The Auguste sofa, created by the designer Guillaume Hinfray, is an invitation to take a nap. Visually remove the structure of the sofa - backrest, armrests and feet -and keep only the best : the cushions. Why ? For the idleness of course, and as the name recalls, in an imperial format, size XXL. The full grain leathers and softer fabrics caress and induce drowsiness. The padding of feathers and the blurred cushions are reminiscent of a pillow, a duvet, a nest, a cocoon. No doubt, here "everything is order and beauty, luxury, calm and pleasure" (Baudelaire, Invitation to Travel). Like a modular program, the Auguste sofa is infinitely (re)composable: a series of simple elements - angles, warmers, footstools and ends of sofas - offered in different widths that add up and multiply to adapt to all desires and requirements: -large 3 (or more)- seating sofas -corner sofas -chaise longue -ottoman as tables or end of sofa Auguste is also available as an armchair.
