The Maison wished to pay honour to one of the major eras of the influence of French refinement, that of the 1930s and 40s. The epoch which knew how to overcome the least over the most, the detail over the superfluous, which privileged being over appearance, which sublimated "the intelligence of the hands" and the sense of proportions. More than an arid, cubic and industrial minimalism, Max stands out for its simplicity, frank, pleasant and recognizable, rare and precious. Stopping at the apparent simplicity of Max would be a mistake. Like all simple and beautiful things, they are the result of uncompromising choice: from comfort to the quality of handcrafted finishes.
