Description

The MAR H collection of pendant lights, designed by Héctor Serrano, is inspired by the shapes of sea urchin shells. The shade is made from recycled fishing nets, giving it a characteristic green color. This product combines sustainability and 3D printing. The MAR H340 light can be used individually or combined with other models in the collection to create unique compositions that illuminate with style and environmental awareness. A vindication of circularity Tierra, Mar, and Aire is a collection of luminaires based on two ideas: the democratization of large-scale 3D printing and an interest in circularity and sustainability. The three collections are conceived as a gesture of protest about the need to reconsider our relationship with the planet. Designed by Héctor Serrano Héctor Serrano's London-based design studio has been working on innovative and timeless projects for over 20 years, focusing on creating products and spaces that engage people in the most human, emotional, and extraordinary way possible. Manufactured using 3D printing Tierra, Mar, and Aire are manufactured using large-scale 3D printing from 100% recycled and recyclable plastics and bioplastics, locally, on demand, and without molds, reducing the environmental impact of storage and transportation. Inspiration The morphology of Mar is inspired by the shells of sea urchins, referencing the origin of the material. Its sinuous shapes and simple lines evoke the calm ocean. Recycled and sustainable materials Addressing the issue of marine pollution, the Mar collection is made from a polypropylene composite formulated with 75% recycled fishing nets and reinforced with fiberglass. Available in 3 sizes Available in three slightly different shapes, Mar allows for dynamic compositions where you can play with its various sizes and forms. Tierra, Mar and Aire: Calm, Honesty and Versatility Tierra, Mar, and Aire are visually distinct and independent, but they share three common concepts. Calmness: Their simple, friendly, and timeless shapes allow the details of their finishes to shine. Honesty: No artifices are added to enhance the value of the striations. Versatility: The absence of molds allows for variations in the morphology of the luminaires.
