Male clip with screw fix or rivet fix installation. Fire retardant with stainless steel composition. Compatible with the MC-F5 and MC-F10 depending on pull out load requirement. No special tools required for installation. The Metal Range is recommended for more heavy duty applications that require a robust hidden fixing with the innate fire resistance of metal. Self-tapping, screw or rivet and self-adhesive fix options available, with pull-out loads of 5kg or 10kg depending on female clip used. Common uses: heavyweight wall and ceiling panels, fire-rated panels, metal panels. The Fastmount Metal Range was designed for demanding applications that require fire resistance and heavy load bearing. The surface fix male provides a rapid install fixing compatible with the MC-F5 (5kg pull-out load) and MC-F10 (10kg pull-out load), with the option to self-adhesive fix using the MC-SM5-VHBFR. The MC-SM5-VHBFR is supplied with fire-rated VHB adhesive backing pre-applied for rapid panel mounting. Gap between panel and substrate with MC-SM5-VHBFR: 4.75mm.
