Data Chair is a system of chairs that can be assembled on different base typologies: sled, four legs, central support with or without wheels. Because of the Data Chair's many configurations, its solid build and its lightweight appearance, it is a project with appeal, unrivaled for furnishing collective spaces, public spaces, work places and homes. The continuous line of the seat and the solution in terms of proportion characterize the design of Data Chair: the seat is made out of a thin section of laminated wood, curved with three-dimensional technology; the way it is built gives it controlled flexibility and an ideal level of comfort. The surface offers an unexpected sensory experience to the touch, thanks to the slight ridging of the wood which also contributes to the greater depth of the colors. Seat A shell made of oak plywood curved three-dimensionally. Structure Made out of 11-mm diameter steel rod (sled version). 16-mm steel tube (four legs version). 22-mm steel tube (central support). Paint The finish highlights the three-dimensional nature of the material. Wood paint with low-environmental impact. Available colours are natural oak, bud green, wengè-stained oak, geranium red, periwinkle blue or milk white. Special finishes upon request. Steel rod structures available in chrome-plated or painted white finish. Steel tube structure is chrome-plated. Upholstery The upholstered shell may be applied to all the bases. Fabric or leather may be selected from our fabric samples or supplied by the customer.
