The inspiration for Rubie, a design by Hauke Murken and Sven Hansen, was a quilted blanket casually thrown over a wooden chair. The resulting chair is simple and light, but also elegant due to the voluminous quilting. This interplay between frugality and opulence makes Rubi the ideal seat for a variety of everyday situations, from morning coffee through to a big celebratory dinner. Design - Murken Hansen
