THE CONCEPT TOOK SHAPE WITH FRIENDS & FOUNDERS’ EXPERTISE IN USING MODERN PRODUCTION TO ACHIEVE HIGH CRAFTSMANSHIP AND EXQUISITE DETAILING. IN THE PIPE CHAIR THE DESIGNER’S EMPHASIS ON BALANCE AND COMFORT CREATED AN ELEGANT EXPERIENCE AND ONE MADE TO LAST. PIPE was named to evoke parts of a functional whole like the stem and bowl of a tobacco pipe. Each component has design and a valuable purpose. Besides this, the silhouette of the chair “the piping” has striking similarity to the shape of a well-crafted, handmade pipe.
