IN THE PIPE CHAIR THE DESIGNER’S EMPHASIS ON BALANCE AND COMFORT CREATED AN ELEGANT EXPERIENCE AND ONE MADE TO LAST. PIPE was named to evoke parts of a functional whole like the stem and bowl of a tobacco pipe. Each component has design and a valuable purpose. Besides this, the silhouette of the chair “the piping” has striking similarity to the shape of a well-crafted, handmade pipe.
