Description

The Manchester bollard is a popular ornamental bollard used throughout the UK. It features characteristics of decorative bands, a shallow ball top and is available with a round or square base. The polyurethane Manchester bollard is finished with a two pack gloss coating to any RAL or BS 4800 colour which can be manufactured to incorporate crests and logos. The Manchester is also available as a removable bollard in cast aluminium which can be housed in either a hinged steel socket (to be secured with a padlock) or the F1 socket. MATERIALS & FINISHES: Polyurethane elastomer (PU) - two pack gloss paint finish OPTIONS: Removable - standard or F1 socket Eyebolts - for chain link Reflective tape - refer to accessories for colour Plinths Crests & logos With sign Highlighted rings INSTALLATION: Root fixed Foundation depth is usually the same as the root depth of the bollard Minimum recommended foundation diameter is the root diameter plus 200mm Concrete mix to 25 newtons Removable Foundation depth 320mm Minimum recommended foundation 450mm sq Dig an additional drainage hole 80mm (d) x 150mm (sq) and fill with pea shingle (directly below socket) Concrete mix to 25 newtons
