The Dorma MUNDUS fittings are amazing due to their elegant shapes, with straight edges and rounded corners, without visible inserts, so as not to alter the overall appearance. Visually and technically, the Dorma MUNDUS system is adapted to include connection variants for 24 standard systems such as PT 10, PT 40 or PT 70. MUNDUS also provides solutions for customized space requirements , such as PT 41 and PT 61, for rigid EVODUR ESG glass assemblies with glass fins at 90 °. MUNDUS is adapted to include different types of glass, with varying sizes and thickness, without the need for seals. Because some systems only allow for the installation of EVODUR ESG safety glass, especially in the case of MUNDUS PREMIUM, Dorma has developed special technology to adapt to EVOLAM T – laminated and tempered glass doors. Thus, MUNDUS PREMIUM has a new adaptation for laminated glass, which allows for mechanical clamping along with adhesive bonding. The PREMIUM version also provides the option of masking the lower and upper hinges with coloured glass. The extremely efficient Dorma MUNDUS fittings can be installed on very large doors and, as such, are quite heavy. – Maximum door width: 1300 mm for glass thicknesses from 8mm to 19mm – Maximum door height: 2000mm for 8mm glass thicknesses * * Doors with a greater height can also be installed using 8 mm glass, provided that the glass sheet is mounted with at least 3 fixing clamps and the handle is mounted high (2/3 of the door).
