Description

With the translucent heat insulation insert Thermolight®100 U-profiled glass facades can be economically adapted to fit the modern requirements of room climate, lighting and energy efficiency. This is reflected in the enhanced heat insulation value (U-value), a lowered heat influx in the summer (low g-value) and very good glare protection. The high amount of scattered light improves the room illumination during the daylight hours. The Thermolight®100 insulation inserts consist of very thin, spun glass fibers, which are coated with a light-stable binding agent and interwoven to form a very light and translucent glass fiber mat. The enclosed, „standing“ air cushion provides a very good heat insulation. The woven glass fibers provide perfect light scattering and room illumination without harsh shadows. Applications: - high-quality architectural projects such as museums and theatres, shopping centres, sports stadiums, corporate and office buildings, hospitals - window facades for industrial buildings and trade halls for daylight utilisation - glass facades for sports halls, very good glare protection and ball impact safety - staircases and passages Properties: - Improved heat insulation of the U-profiled glass facade - Reduction of heat influx - Improved sun protection - Very good light scattering, glare protection and room illumination - Color: white, coloured coatings on request - Temperature resistant up to 100°C - Insensitive against humidity - Fire protection certificate B1 (DIN 4102–1) Due to different photography and printing processes, the colours of the actual products and their perception in practice may differ from those in the illustrations on these pages.
