At first glance, you can’t tell how much technology the Pendalex P+
actually contains. On closer inspection, however, it impresses with its high-quality materials, such as aluminium, fibreglass-reinforced TSG synthetic material and galvanised sunshade struts made from tempered spring steel – and is a masterpiece of engineering. It also impresses with a gas pressure spring in its pole with which the height of the sunshade can be adjusted.
Thanks to the ball-and-socket joint made from solid anodised aluminium, the sunshade roof offers stepless tilting by up to 90° in all directions and can be rotated 360° around the pole. As this sunshade barely takes up any space when it is closed, it can easily spend the winter outdoors or in the cellar.
Material and technology:
The profiled telescopic pole and supporting arm are in anodised natural or anthracite powder-coated aluminium, the shells are produced out of fibre-glass reinforced TSG synthetic material. Teflon modified high-performance synthetic material has been used for the guides. The struts are made from tempered, galvanised and powder-coated spring steel; and the ball-and-socket out of solid anodised aluminium.
You open and close the sunshade using the crank on the supporting arm. The height of the sunshade can be easily adjusted using the gas pressure spring (50 cm lift) in the sunshade pole. The supporting arm runs on roller guides and can be extended continuously. The GLATZ ball-and-socket allows the sunshade cover to tilt freely up to 90° in all directions. The sunshade can be rotated 360° continuously around the pole.
