It gives off hot air through a grate at the top, providing air circulation to the room, in addition to the radiated heat from the soapstone cladding. Alex has a large, prism-shaped glass door that provides a good view of the flames from the front and sides. The stove can be connected to a fresh-air duct. A standard smoke outlet is at the back, while side or top outlets are optional.
