The correct warehousing of new waste bins has long been a major problem for a waste disposal company from Kassel – the weather caused great damage to the warehousing goods. HALTEC was able to remedy this with a quickly realizable warehouse canopy. The company was particularly impressed by the new HALTEC BASIC canopy with its robust aluminium construction in a 2.50 m grid including hard canopy made of trapezoidal sheet metal. Warehousing canopy as effective weather protection Outsourced on an elevated outdoor area of the waste disposal company, the new garbage cans are waiting for delivery to the district residents of Kassel. Until now, the waste containers were completely exposed to the weather without protection, which led to high damage in some cases. The high stacks of garbage cans ran full of water in the rain and were therefore difficult to move and it was particularly hard in winter when the waste containers were partially frozen. In order to avoid further damage to the stored goods, the waste disposal company decided on a 300 m² warehouse canopy from HALTEC. Robust hall construction for more safety For the new HALTEC BASIC CANOPY of protection class No. 1, the robust screwed construction in a 2.50 m grid was particularly important to the client. In this way, the company could be sure that the canopy would withstand the sometimes stormy winds on the hill and the increased snow load. Assembled within just two days, the new aluminium warehouse canopy was ready for future, permanent use – a great performance from HALTEC! Fire protection requirements met with flying colours
