Temporary structure for long-term use — 800 m² of additional space for large storage capacity! A rubber and plastics manufacturer from the German region of Baden-Württemberg has used this temporary structure to expand its storage area by 800 m². With a side height of 7.0 m, this hall provides a generous amount of space for storing goods. The temporary structure was anchored directly in the existing asphalt surface with ground pegs, without the need for foundations. The tarpaulin cladding provides the finished goods with basic protection against the wind and weather. The HALTEC BASIC hall system gave this customer the perfect solution for additional space to meet its needs. The goods, which are not sensitive to frost, are stored on pallets on the ground. Transparent roof tarpaulins in the temporary structure provide natural light and therefore save energy costs. Tensioned interior tarpaulins protect the goods from drips of condensation. This hall therefore complies with protection class 3 — protected against condensation. Crash barriers protect the temporary structure against impact loads (for example from pallet trucks and forklifts) both outside and inside. Perfectly tensioned: The tarpaulin cladding is tensioned at ground level using rectangular tubes so that no pockets of water can form on the roof during heavy rain.
