With the new construction of an approx. 800 m² production hall by HALTEC, Traber Holzoberflächen AG created the most modern plant for the treatment and varnishing of wooden surfaces in Switzerland! The individual planning and equipment of the SELECT hall was particularly important. Particular attention was paid to the integration of a new painting unit in the almost 10.0 m high production hall. In addition, an explosion-proof area for storing paint had to be created inside the hall, which HALTEC solved with special fire protection panels. Almost 40 windows were installed in the façade to ensure that sufficient daylight for special work processes can reach the interior of the hall. HALTEC production halls – always equipped to meet your needs In addition to the equipment features that are essential for painting, further needs-based features have been implemented to optimize the work processes. HALTEC provided a total of five sectional doors with overhead guidance, through which comfortable access to the hall is made possible. The large canopies on three sides of the production hall provide additional protected areas in the outside area. In order to take into account the amount of snow that accumulates in the Swiss Alpine foothills, a snow guard was also installed on the roof to ensure safety around the hall.
