Overview
The Door Lock Drive HmIP-DLP-AS enables remote and local locking, unlocking and opening (latch pull) of entrance doors via the Homematic IP App, compatible keypads, key ring remote control or voice control. It integrates multiple sensors for door status, position and vibration and provides tamper detection. The device is designed for retrofit installation without replacing the existing cylinder and supports individual access profiles and scheduled authorisations.

Main functions and operation

Installation and compatibility notes

• Designed for retrofit mounting on the existing cylinder (adhesive or clamp mounting to avoid permanent modifications to the door leaf).
• Recommended: internal cylinder extension of 0–9 mm beyond the inside fitting to ensure reliable key rotation by the drive.
• Essential: cylinder with emergency & danger function (external key can be turned when an internal key is present).
• Key protrusion: key must protrude at least 5 mm from the cylinder and max 14 mm from the door leaf; shorten key if required.
• Security: integrated position, vibration and sabotage sensors; local siren can be triggered on detected break-in attempts even without internet connection.
• Battery operation: 4x 1.5 V LR6/AA. Use of low self-discharge rechargeable cells (e.g. eneloop) is possible but may reduce nominal battery lifetime.
