See who is at your entrance and speak directly with visitors. The Video Doorbell HmIP-CODB-A combines a 3 MP camera, infra-red night vision and two-way audio. It supports battery operation or connection to existing doorbell wiring and is rated IP65 for outdoor use.

Communicate naturally
Two-way intercom enables clear, continuous conversations with visitors via the Homematic IP app, suitable for parcel carriers and guests. Voice transmission is stable to avoid frequent interruptions.

Flexible installation and reliable operation
Use battery operation for cordless installation (USB-C charging) or connect to existing doorbell wiring for continuous power; when wired the battery charges in the background. A 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network is required for configuration and remote features.

Automatic live stream
On doorbell press the app sends an immediate push notification and can open the live video feed automatically in 3 MP quality so you can react immediately.

Reliable detection
The combined PIR/infra-red sensor with local person detection reduces false alarms by sending alerts primarily for human presence close to the entrance.

Weatherproof protection
IP65-rated enclosure protects the device from rain and snow; infra-red night vision ensures clear images in low light conditions.
