TPE drain connector ERMETIC

Ermetic drain connectors connect roof membranes to rainwater drains, guaranteeing long-lasting watertightness thanks to the tapered tang, perforated flange and watertight rings. Ideal for coated bitumen and prefabricated membranes. Ermetic drain connectors are used to connect roof membranes with rainwater drains. The slightly conical-shaped tang facilitates installation in rainwater pipes. The elastic material from which they are produced guarantees a long-lasting seal. Knurling at the top of the tang ensures a perfect attachment of the Leaf-Excluders and Gravel-Excluder to the drain connector. They have excellent resistance to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other atmospheric or chemical agents normally present. The elasticity of the raw material from which they are made allows for excellent flexibility even at low temperatures, enabling the mechanical and physical characteristics to remain unchanged for a long time. The perforated flange improves adhesion to bituminous sheaths, while the two rings positioned along the tang guarantee a watertight seal in the event of backflow along the downpipe. The drain connector is fully compatible with APP and SBS type prefabricated bituminous membranes and also with coated bitumen. For maximum performance, sandwich laying between two layers of membrane is recommended. To improve adhesion, the drain connector can be pre-coated with a light coat of primer.
