GDO Expansion Joints for roofs absorb structural movements and ensure excellent adhesion with bituminous membranes, with resistance to sun, ozone and chemicals. Expansion joints for roofs are used to absorb various movements in the presence of structural joints. Thanks to its shape, the central bulb is able to adapt to various movements, while the two lateral tabs always allow excellent anchorage to bituminous membranes. The GDO bulb has no less than three tabs, thus providing greater protection. In some situations, it is recommended to mechanically fix the joints to the slab in order to ensure greater adhesion, particularly when laying bituminous membranes.
