The IRIAL mosaic is a system of aluminium tiles, variously treated, assembled without joints and coupled to the support using structural glue.Installation Advantages
Benefits:
There is no need to remove the existing covering; it can simply be overlaid.
The installation phases are non-invasive and do not create dirt or mess in the surrounding environment.
The anchoring system can use either two or three clips bonded to the covering.
Customer note: in order to verify the product according to specific applications, IRIAL relies on internationally certified tests carried out by qualified laboratories; the results made available to the Customer influence the selection process.
The Customer’s company shall verify whether the project specifications are sufficient to identify the requirements related to the final application and shall request any additional tests if necessary.
1. Installation
Make sure that the wall (or surface) is clean and free from mold or swelling. If such conditions are present, it is important that the affected area is firmly adhered to the wall.
Before starting the installation process, clean the surface carefully to ensure optimal adhesive performance.
Cut the mosaic sheet to the desired installation size using a cutter.
Remove the protective film and apply the plastic components to all corners of the sheet.
Spread the adhesive over the mosaic surface.
Glue the tiles one by one, making sure to place them immediately in their final position (the cells have an almost immediate grip).
Once all the tiles have been positioned, keep the tape under tension during bonding to prevent gaps from forming while the adhesive dries.
2. Maintenance
Avoid impacts, abrasions, and the use of sharp or rigid objects on the surface. Clean only with soft cloths, using neutral alcohol- or ammonia-based detergents, or common automotive cleaning products.
Acidic, alkaline, or caustic products, as well as solvents and non-foaming detergents, are strictly prohibited. Always test the cleaning product on a hidden area before use.
