Steigner seals D, E, P and V are made of EPDM material (ethylene-propylene diene terpolymer). Its chemical composition and structure makes the elements extremely durable (about 8 years of durability). They are resistant to UV radiation, ozone and various weather conditions. Seals retain their flexibility even during long-term frosts or hot weather. SFD and STD seals are made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material. It’s a mixture of hard thermoplastics with rubber. TPE is flexible, resistant to abrasion or aging. It is environmentally safe.
