Project / presentationSTRUTTURA. A composition that supports the balance of form. Albert & Lillybet by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba for Kartell, presented at Salone del Mobile 2026.
LILLYBET (seat)LILLYBET, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, reinterprets decorative elements from classical tradition into a contemporary seat. The design blends references to classical shapes with a reduced, readable silhouette. The shell is produced in recycled technopolymer, stemming from Kartell's material research. Upholstery options enable varied aesthetic expressions.
- Upholstery options: floral jacquard (pattern generated with artificial intelligence), bouclé, velvet with contrasting welt.
- Approach: fusion of material research, technology and decorative sensitivity; reinterpretation of tradition in a contemporary language.
ALBERT (table)ALBERT, by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, reworks the curved leg of classical furniture (inspired by 18th-century French tradition) into a fluid contemporary support for the table. Constructed in aluminium, the frame integrates a structural edge designed to receive different types of tops, allowing compositional freedom. The color block version can be paired with a large high-gloss ceramic top. Material choices enable configurations for interior and exterior use, depending on the finish.
- Main materials: aluminium (ALBERT), recycled technopolymer (LILLYBET).
- Finishes: color block version with high-gloss ceramic top option.
- Use: suitable for indoor and outdoor settings (depending on ALBERT configuration).
