Description

The PLUS armchair has been designed by Amandine and Aïssa from AC/AL studio for Orchid Edition. " The PLUS armchair has been designed for cosiness and comfort. Its particularity lies in the big head that becomes a wide and colorful backrest. " Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot. "In the designs proposed by the ACAL studio, it is the lightness that has won me over. Nothing is too much, everything is in its right place. The canes are linked by a set of curves without embellishment. The combination of rattan and metal avoids the need to add rattan, which is often necessary to make the structure solid. And the French webbing pattern adds transparency. The headrest of the PLUS armchair catches the eye. It is as if it were suspended, but its curves harmoniously recall those of the cane structure, creating a balanced ensemble that is totally new in the "rattan" spirit and yet very classic with its cane seat." Tina Ledi Structure in barked rattan poles, natural lacquered, single cane webbing with checkboard patterns reinforcements on nylon straps for the seat. Head rest: plywood frame upholstered with P.U. foam 30kg/m3 and cover in Idris fabric by Thevenon.
