Vidar Duo by Kvadrat / Raf Simons is a duotone upholstery fabric produced in Norway. Woven from bouclé yarns, it presents a deep, large-grained texture with a subtle satin appearance created by a crepe weave over a jacquard backing. Available in 11 duotone colourways, it is designed for contract and high‑end interior applications.

Construction & appearance
Vidar Duo is yarn-dyed with a weft composed of two colours of similar saturation and differing hue. The looped bouclé structure and combined weave deliver a soft satin surface and a pronounced mélange effect that reduces the perceived colour intensity and adds visual depth.

Care instructions

• Do not wash; professional dry cleaning recommended

• Regular maintenance: vacuum frequently (ideally weekly); wipe polyurethane surfaces with a dry or slightly damp cloth
• Stain removal: remove solids, dab non-greasy stains with warm water using a lint-free cloth; test cleaning agents in an inconspicuous area; consult professional cleaning for large or difficult stains
• Impregnation: not recommended for wool upholstery; avoid impregnation on 100% Trevira CS as it may reduce permanent flame-retardant properties
