A chair with an essential and striking mark that is already a design icon.
The CANONE chair, the result of extremely fine planning, defies the limits of materials and physics and adds a new, original piece to the big mosaic of the contemporary chairs. Its backrest, entirely made of solid wood, crosses the whole profile of the chair diagonally and touches the ground, where it becomes the third basic standpoint of the structure. The backrest is flexible and adapts to the user, guaranteeing a comfortable sitting.
Even the seat is ergonomic: a single cut of natural leather extends itself between the two sides of the seat, guaranteeing comfortable support and, thanks to the high thickness and to the endurance of the pressed leather, which stays the same through time. A triumph of simplicity and essentiality that reaches its climax in the pivot of the structure, made of a simple wooden cornerstone that, inserted between the backrest and the seat, keeps the whole structure together.
