The HS 8300 with its impressive load capacity of 300 tonnes is one of the largest duty cycle crawler cranes worldwide. This powerful machine is designed for material handling and can be operated with dragline buckets and different grabs with enormous volume capacity. The robust steel fabrication is designed for an extended service life of the giant machine which is ideal for dynamic applications. To further increase performance, the hydraulic crawler crane can be equipped with the innovative hybrid drive Pactronic® that uses surplus energy. This increases the turnover performance significantly and reduces fuel consumption at the same time. Apart from dragline operation the duty cycle crawler crane is suitable for various other material handling and exploitation jobs. The machine can also be equipped with a clamshell for dredging. Designed for dynamic tasks The uppercarriage with its robust design is mounted on a solid undercarriage featuring wide tracks and long crawlers for a high level of stability. Reliable drive technology A reliable and easy to service diesel engine designed for the HS series provides the required hydraulic power. Less operating costs are achieved by lower fuel consumption. Through its new exhaust after-treatment system the required emission targets are attained. Intelligent crane control The crane control system offers a multitude of programme and control options. Color displays clearly provide service and machine data. All movements can be carried out simultaneously. The operator thus benefits from a facilitated handling of the rig.
