OverviewNatural Genius Trame is a sophisticated wood surface developed for Listone Giordano that explores the visual and tactile perception of oak by combining the material solidity with delicate surface engravings that convey a sense of movement.

DesignDesign: Patrick Jouin. Trame transforms the wooden plank into a dynamic architectural language where the repetition of a graphic mark generates a hypnotic rhythmic pattern that expands the perceptual boundaries of space.

SystemThe system is based on three fixed-size elements which, through a skillful interplay of lines and orientations, create ever-changing graphic patterns. The engraving is functional to the effect: it breaks the rigidity of the material and creates an intense dialogue between light and shadow.

Key aesthetic notesThe aesthetic combines industrial engraving technology with an organic sensibility to produce a vibrant surface that captures light in ever-changing ways while maintaining visual softness and openness.
