DESIGNED BY MARCEL WANDERS STUDIO, THE COLLECTION IS INSPIRED BY THE TRAVELLER'S SYNDROME AND BY THE NEED TO EXPLORE DIFFERENT CULTURES, TRANSFORMING ITSELF INTO EXTREMELY DECORATIVE WALLPAPERS, CAPABLE OF TRANSFORMING ENVIRONMENTS INTO DESTINATIONS. A scene lit by sunlight and buffeted by the wind concealing a silent ocean bed of wonders, as it descends into the depths. Packed with references to Dutch culture, this work recalls the maritime paintings of the “golden age” and features images of Delft ceramic statuettes, windmills and ancient galleys. In a surreal underwater world, the design intentionally creates visual depth, gradually revealing magnificent historical references.
