Commercial insulated container AF12

The Active Door operates in temperature retention mode: the convection heating unit compensates for the natural heat loss in the transported meals. The Active Door is designed to evenly and progressively distribute the heat throughout the container’s interior; this system prevents spot overheating and overcooking, protecting the taste and the nutrients of foods. Available in two versions: with digital thermostat, which allows programming the temperature inside of the container and monitoring it throughout the transport; with preset temperature of 75°C. Specifically for use in combination with the AF12 container, the AF12 Modular System and the AF12 Active Modular System. Especially indicated: to extend food storage time safely in case of postponed service; when the isothermal container is not used at full capacity; in case of multiple-drop deliveries. The heating unit is equipped with a stainless steel internal protection to guarantee excellent impact and high temperature resistance. Internal stainless steel protection is designed to guarantee heating unit insulation against humidity and chance contact of the transported liquids. The door and the heating unit are easily disassembled without the need for tools. This allows easy cleaning and sanitising of the container. It allows to properly operate in HACCP environment. It can be powered from the standard electricity main (230V a.c.). Available, upon request, an “Inverter” device to connect the Active Door to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter, allowing power supply during transport.
