When we began to think of Cynara, we imagined a person who knows low-strung afternoons of lounging and also has a keen eye for dressing up for drinks and dinner on the deck at night. With 1950’s era low to the ground profile and open architectural lines, the Chaise Lounge traverses from informal to formal and back again without much trouble. Relaxed and elegant, we digitally cut this piece from sustainable hardwoods. We hand finish it with a plant-based hard wax oil with zero VOCs to romance the wood over time. Left to itself, Cynara ages to a refined silver-gray patina. So it’s no wonder Cynara knows how and when to chill or dress up.
