When we began to think of Cynara, we imagined a person who knows low-strung afternoons of lounging and also has a keen eye for dressing up for drinks and dinner on the deck at night. With the 1950s era low to the ground profile and open architectural lines, the Ottoman joins the collection as an equally elegant compliment for kicked-back casual conversation. Like all the pieces, we digitally cut this piece from sustainable hardwoods. We hand finish it with a plant-based hard wax oil with zero VOCs so, left to itself, it ages to a refined silver-gray patina. You can specify Cynara with numerous available fabrics and colors. We make it with locally Salvaged Elm or FSC® certified American Cherry hardwoods.
