A set of two traditional solid brass door handles supplied without lock body or cylinder (false lock). The Nelson door handles are antimicrobial and antibacterial. They not only look great but actively reduce the transmission of infections too. Touch surfaces that are made from copper and copper alloys like brass are antimicrobial. That means raw brass metal has an inherent ability to continuously kill environmental microbes and bacteria on its surface - often within two hours or less. Recent studies in healthcare settings found that copper and copper alloys fixtures - like pull handles and door handles - reduced the transmissions rate of infections within intensive care units (ICU) by more than half.
