Overview
Matiz reinterprets traditional weaving by starting from a handwoven single-colour base, then applying a contrasting tone through manual dyeing. The process produces an organic interaction between pigment and pile, resulting in subtle tonal depth and irregularities appreciated in contemporary interiors.

Technique

• Hand-loomed dhurrie
• Use of recycled yarns helps reduce unmanaged waste and CO2 emissions; the original tones of recycled yarns preserve irregularity and tonal richness in the pile.

Cleaning and care

• Vacuum frequently to remove surface dust.
• Treat stains promptly with an appropriate cleaner before they dry.
• For deep cleaning, take the rug to specialized dry cleaners experienced with handwoven wool rugs.
