Natare’s MicroFlo safety drain covers are a simple solution to pool and spa codes. Our covers and grates are VGB compliant (Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act) and comply with the Federal Law and ASME/ANSI A112.19.8-2007. These drain sump covers are unblockable and are qualified “Field Fabricated Outlets”. They can be used with existing pool outlets (drains), but are not intended for pools with single main drains, except in special cases. Our certified VGB drain covers and sump grates are available in standard sizes for 18" x 18" or smaller drain openings, and 24" x 24" or smaller drain openings. These sump grates come in stainless steel or our special GPM polymer. Custom sizes can be supplied if necessary. We also provide certified stainless steel drain covers and sump grates as a complete unit in standard 18" x 18" and 24" x 24" sizes that accommodate flow rates over 1,100 gallons. The selection of an appropriate VGB-compliant cover requires a review and analysis of drain sizes, system flow rates, and other aspects of the existing design.
