VGU 250 extracts warm, humid air from kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. The energy from the extracted air is reused to produce domestic hot water, and the system is so efficient that the unit only uses a third of the energy of a conventional water heater.
It consists of a 230 litre hot water tank and continuously variable fan with a capacity for extracting up to 325 m3/h.
The hot water tank is coated with a double layer of glass enamel and has a sacrificial anode, thus providing optimum corrosion protection and extending the cylinder's service life.
The unit is supplied with an extra heating coil, which means it can be combined with solar heating, oil, gas, district heating or any other fuel for increased domestic hot water production.
Capacity
Capacity of standard unit as a function of qv and Pt,ext.
Sound data
Sound output level LWA drops with falling air volumes and falling back-pressure.
At a given distance, the sound pressure level LpA will depend on the acoustic conditions at the installation site.
COP (air-water)
Heat output factor COP and heat output Qw for sanitary hot water as a function of the volume flow qv at a tank temperature of 40°C or 50°C and extract air temperature t11 = 20°C hht. EN 255-3.
