Overview

Tecnopark is a high-density automatic parking system designed to maximize vehicle storage in constrained spaces such as courtyards, old garages and basement levels. The system automates vehicle reception, dimensional verification and parking by combining an entry cell, a mobile platform and an internal transfer mechanism.

Operation

• The driver positions the vehicle on the platform inside the entry cell following visual guidance from an indicator panel.
• After exit, the system verifies vehicle position and dimensions (laser scanners and photocells) and only then initiates platform transfer to the assigned storage bay.
• Automated lateral and longitudinal movements store the platform in the parking matrix without manual handling.

User interface and safety

• Wall-mounted indicator panel with arrow signals to guide vehicle placement; green arrows indicate correct alignment.
• Laser scanners and photocell barriers check vehicle dimensions and length to prevent movement if the vehicle exceeds platform limits.
• Optional CCTV in the entry cell for visual verification before transfer.
• Optional VCC safety system and interlocks to block motion when unsafe conditions are detected.

Transfer system and structure

• Each parking spot comprises a transfer cell and a flat mobile platform.
• Transfer chains are fitted on long and short sides; motion is transmitted via gearmotors, pinions and cardan joints to enable lateral and longitudinal translations.
• Short sides can be raised or lowered to engage lateral or longitudinal transfer sequences.
• Positioning sensors and magnetic sensors ensure accurate platform placement into the allocated bay.

Durability and noise control

• Rolling chains are acoustically isolated with Teflon protection and covered with vulcanized rubber in platform areas to reduce noise and wear.
• Anti-vibration pads can be installed under the transfer cell to decouple the installation from the building structure.
• Components such as pinions are mounted on bearings and chains are galvanized and treated to extend service life.

Sensors and positioning

• Platform equipped with multiple position sensors (including three positioning sensors) and magnetic sensors for final locking.
• Control logic coordinates sensor inputs for safe, repeatable stopping and alignment.
