Description

The Formus blends modern functionality and style with minimal postmodern elements, to create an exceptional towel rail. Featuring numerous rungs, its rectangular shape and finish create a stunning wall mounted towel rail, silently adding presence to modern luxury bathrooms. The Formus is a popular set of bathroom towel rails perfect for modern interiors, using 1 ¼” (32mm) and 1 ½” brass square tube with a 3mm wall thickness and 64mm square plates for the wall mounts to achieve a simple modern design. This bathroom towel rail is hand crafted in England by skilled artisans and chemists. The Formus bathroom towel ladder 1 ¼” outer tubes are chamfered to be hard soldered and then polished down to achieve a seamless square with no corner lines visible. The inner rails are made using smaller square brass tube, which are grub screwed into place using specially machined mounting blocks that are brazed inside of the tubes. Brass Square bathroom towel rails are very hard to produce; as such they are still very uncommon. The difficult in producing a Brass Square bathroom towel rail is due to the soft properties of the brass and its flat surface area; when polishing and hard soldered in the Brass square tube it is prone to warp. This bathroom towel radiator uses Sterlingham’s dry line electric trace heating cable to overcome the common warping problem with Brass Square bathroom towel rails. The electric trace heating cable allows in the inner rails to be grub screwed meaning no heat needs to be applied on the inside faces on the 1 ¼” tube.
