However, with a large increase in demand for exciting new finishes, Penhaglion felt it was time to dedicate a full range of copper tone alternatives. With this fabulous Bishopsgate, we have finished the polished solid copper exterior with a heavy flat bar copper base; the lines look stunning. The unlacquered solid copper exterior can be allowed to naturally tarnish over years of use or can easily be maintained to show its' polished mirror finish. Finishing The polished copper exterior is simple to maintain and keep bright. Just a wipe with a soft cloth will remove most marks. If you prefer to allow the exterior surface to adopt its' natural patina, no care will be required on the exterior. If patina does occur, it can easily be polished off with a little Mothers polish and a soft cloth to bring up to shiny. The interior of the tub is hand applied enamel. Both the tub interior and exterior are hand finished, so no surface is perfectly flat or 100% even. Each Penhaglion Hand Finished tub is one of a kind.
