Product overviewPilkington Activ™ Clear is an on-line coated self-cleaning glass with photocatalytic and hydrophilic properties, designed to reduce manual cleaning and maintain good visibility over the product lifetime.

- Suitable as monolithic glass or incorporated into insulating glass units (coating applied to surface #1); compatible with Pilkington K Glass™, Pilkington Energy Advantage™ and Pilkington Optitherm™ for enhanced thermal performance.
- Available in combination with Pilkington Optilam™ for impact resistance/security, Pilkington Optiphon™ for acoustic improvement, and Pilkington Optitherm™ S3 and S1A for additional thermal insulation.
- Offered in standard thicknesses: 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm.
- Meets Class A according to EN 1096 for coated glass.
- Complies with ASTM C 1376 specification.
ApplicationsPilkington Activ™ Clear is ideal where access for cleaning is difficult or costly, such as high-rise façades, glazed roofs, conservatories and atria, or in housing for elderly residents. It is also suited to applications requiring clear visibility: sports stadiums, commentary boxes, airport glazing and external walkways.
